Space Invaders X LIAR
In June of 2023, Maisy Gordon’s play Space Invaders X LIAR was commissioned by The Unity Theatre as a part of the Up Next Festival.
Sean, Jade and Ryan are all dealing with unfathomable change. Reality, routines and relationships are up in the air. Ryan is doing anything to get Sean out of the house and Jade is clawing her way to getting some answers. How do young disabled people deal with life-altering news?

I Am Steven Gerrard
Shane is a young man with a dream: to embody one of the biggest Liverpool legends in history. Though he shares an ambition no different to many of those around him, it soon transpires that Shane yearns for something far beyond football.
Written by Sean McLoughlin and Directed by Amy Roberts, the winner of What Happens Next 2023 is a story of love, loss, loneliness, and reality television; I Am Steven Gerrard is a one-man play that explores the complexities of masculinity, and what it means to be a real man in society today.
